Natsu no Koi ha Nijiiro Ni Kagayaku (Summer Love Shines in Rainbow)

New drama I started watching this season. 
Jun Matsumoto(Arashi) and Yuko Takeuchi are casted in this drama. 
Yuko was in American drama Flush Forward too. 


It is a love story of a celeb but infamous actor and a single mother. 
Taiga (Jun)'s parents are famous. His father is a famous actor, so taiga was interested in becoming an actor as well since his childhood. 

But he has no talent on acting and he gets depressed comparing him to his father. 
He is sometimes quacky, but I like him because he is pure and he tells his feeling straightforward
. 
As I watch this drama, I want to cheer him up. 

And he falls love with Shiori (Yuko). 

He knows she still loves her lost husband and has a child, he loves and support her. 

Awww he is so sweet...

I always think Yuko is very feminine. 
How she smiles, how she talks, how she moves... everything is very feminine.

She looks very fragile and delicate. 

This role fits Yuko perfectly. 

She has her kid in her real life too, but she is still adorable and beautiful. 

This drama is not that popular for this season, but I like both the story and casts. 

This drama is nothing exciting, but very heartwarming.

Chicago Trip
I went to Chicago with my friends last weekend.

The first day, we went to the museum and a karaoke box at night.
The karaoke box was located in one of the Korean street, and there were songs selection from English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Russian.
We mainly sang Japanese songs.

It was awesome!
Actually last time I went to karaoke was like 3 years ago.
When I go karaoke, I like to sing Boa, Namie Amuro, and Every little thing.
We sang for 2 hours and each of us paid 15 bucks.
It is still cheaper than in LA, but still it is expensive.
When I use to go to karaoke in Japan, it usually cost me 2 or 3 bucks per hour.
But we enjoyed so much.
They wanted to sing more.

The next day, we went to Mitsuwa.
We ate ramen noodle there.
I ordered miso noodle.
I had not eaten noodle for so long.
There are Japanese restaurant in my area, but no ramen noodle.
Sooo good :)

I had grocery shopping there too, but I could not buy any fresh food because I had to drive back home and I was afraid I will spoil them.
So, I bought rice, otyazuke, and 2 takenoko no sato *that is my favorite!!*
I wanted to buy sushi too, but I gave up T T.

There was Japanese book store too.
I kind of wanted to buy magazine too, but it is expensive, so I decided to wait till my parents will come here (in August).

It was such a short trip, but I enjoyed it so much.
Next time, I want to enjoy clothes shopping too ^ ^

Enjoy not only the Taste, but appearance-Suica Bar


Doesn't it just look like watermelon?
This is called "Suica Bar". Suica means watermelon. 
The red and green part is sherbet, and the black seeds are crunchy chocolate. 
This have been sold for long time. 
Every summer, I eat this and realize summer has come. 
I can eat this every time. 
It is soooo yummy!

Ikea for America, what about Japan?

I love decorating my room. 
I love my apartment.

As soon as I finish working, I go back to my apartment straight and do not go outside and do whatever I like, such as watching TV, moves, listening to music, cooking, making jewelry and all kind stuff. 

Therefore, I want to make my room as comfy as possible.

Since I have been in the US, I love Ikea. 

Their furniture are very cute and I wish I could swap all my furniture to Ikea. 

Anyway, few days ago, I read this article about Ikea and Mujirushi.

Mujirushi is a Japanese brand. It sells all kind of stuff from furniture, foods, body care, stationaries and so on. 

It is reasonable and simple, yet it is stylish. 
 
On the article I read, it says if you are neat freak, go for Mujirushi, and if you are not, go for Ikea.

According to this, I am definitely Ikea.

But I love Mujirushi too.

I have some stuff from Mujirushi and I love it. 

I cannot choose just one.

I want to use both of them.

Mioka

This drama is what I am watching this season. 
I just finished watching 4th one today.
I liked the first episode. The story goes kind of slow, and sometimes it is depressing, but so far, I like the drama.



Main girl Mioka has a disease and it cannot be heal with today's medical technology.
She has disease on her brain and it will eventually kill her.
Since she knew the fact, she tries to do things that she wants to do.
But she was avoiding facing with people.
Before she had a boyfriend, but since she talked to him about her disease, he left her.
Since then, she decided not to love anyone anymore.


One day she was trying to commit suicide on the building roof in campus. 
Taichi saw the scene with his friends, and he tried to help her.
But she told him she was just looking at sky.
Since then, Taichi was interested in her.
She was interested in him too, but since she decided not to love anyone, she was hiding her feeling.
This drama is about their love story till her life ends. 


The girl who acts Mioka is Yuriko Yoshitaka.
She is very cute.
She has very light skin, straight black hair, and lovely smiling. 
Her voice is very cute too.
Maybe I am watching this drama because I want to see her:p
